What is the wedding podcast (and why it's the keepsake you'd never think to ask for)
It's the newest service I offer and, surprisingly, the one that moves the bride and groom the most once they see the finished result. The idea is simple: I set up a small recording booth during the party and, in turns, invite guests to sit down for a moment and answer a couple of questions about the couple.
How it works
During the celebration, while the music and the party carry on as usual, I go around to different groups of guests and invite them to stop by the booth. The opening question is always the same: "What do you wish the newlyweds?" From there, each person answers however they like: a story, a piece of advice, a joke, a memory.
Why it works better than a guest book
A guest book gets read once and ends up in a drawer. A wedding podcast can be listened to years later, and it's the real voice of each guest, with their tone, their laughter, their nerves. Without exaggeration, it's the keepsake people tell me they've gone back to listen to the most.
Does it get in the way of the party?
No, the booth is designed to run alongside the music and the dancing, in a quiet corner. There's no need to stop anything or announce it formally: guests drop by little by little throughout the night.
What you get in the end
An edited episode with the best moments, plus the full recordings, to keep forever or share with anyone who couldn't make it to the wedding.
It can be combined
It works very well alongside the photo booth or the 360 video: some capture the image, this one captures the voice. Between all of them, you end up with a fairly complete record of what the party was like.
